From your local departure point, we travel to Oban by Eavesway ‘Exclusive’ luxury coach, to arrive at the wonderful 4* Oban Bay Hotel, where we arrive early evening. This will be your base for the next three nights and borders the bay with views to the isles. A destination as much as a base for exploring Scotland’s west coast. Seafood and prime cuts regularly appear on the hotels award-winning Grill Room’s menu. Sunroom windows to watch the ferries drift by over afternoon tea or a nightcap. The hotel also offers a Thermal Experience with outdoor hot tub and sauna, which provide natural sources of relaxation complimenting the hotels ishga spa treatments perfectly. This hotel offers a gateway and a getaway in one. After some time to relax and unwind, this evening, we enjoy a Winter BBQ Surf & Turf Dinner

SUNDAY (New Years Eve / Hogmanay) – This morning following a leisurely crackin’ Crerar breakfast, we allow you a free / spa day to explore Oban. Oban itself is compact and it's easy to get round on foot. Wander along the seafront to the ruined Dunollie Castle and the sandy beaches beyond - the sunsets here are phenomenal. Alternatively, you may wish to take advantage of the Oban Bay Hotels Spa facilities and treat yourself to a spa day or treatment (extra charges apply). Tonight we celebrate Hogmanay with a Gala Dinner, Ceilidh, Piper & Haggis neeps & Tatties after the bells.

MONDAY (New Years Day) - This morning following a leisurely crackin’ Crerar breakfast and morning. Late morning, we head out on a scenic New Years Day Excursion, touring the coast between Oban & Ballahulish, taking in Glencoe, the Bridge of Orchy and Tyndrum. On return to Oban, we enjoy a New Year’s Day Lunch/Afternoon Tea. The rest of the afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. Tonight we enjoy a candlelit dinner at the hotel followed by live entertainment. Included Meals - Breakfast, Afternoon Tea & Candlelit Dinner
TUESDAY - This morning following our final crackin’ Crerar breakfast, we bid a fond farewell to the Oban Bay Hotel as we begin the journey home taking the memories of this wonderful holiday home with us. However, the your luxury New Years Break is not over yet! This morning, we journey to the bonnie banks of
Loch Lomond, where on arrival, we have
included a ‘farewell’ cruise on Loch Lomond with included morning coffee & Shortbread. Following our cruise, we continue our journey south to arrive back at your original joining point late afternoon/evening.
