SUNDAY (DAY 2) –
This morning following breakfast, we say goodbye to Nairn, as we head for
Dunrobin Castle at Golspie (Admission Included) with time at leisure for lunch and a look round. Durobin Castle is home to the Earl of Sutherland and the Clan Sutherland. It is located one mile north of Golspie and approximately five miles south of Brora, overlooking the Dornoch Firth.
Mid-afternoon, we say farewell to Dunrobin as we make the final push to Scrabster to make the 1900hrs ferry. On arrival in Scrabster, we check-in and board the evening ferry to Orkney. A three-course evening meal will be served during the 90-minute sailing to Stromness this evening.

The 3* Kirkwall Hotel, which will be our base for the next four nights. The Kirkwall Hotel with stunning views to the north is one of Orkney's finest Victorian Buildings, perfectly situated within the historic town of Kirkwall, on the picturesque harbour front, close to the marina and the main shopping area. As a privately-owned family run business, you will be looked after with a genuine warm welcome and friendly efficient service throughout your visit. The hotel has 37 en-suite rooms with a great range of facilities, an excellent harbour view restaurant offering an extensive menu featuring the best local produce has to offer, relaxing lounge, function rooms, lounge bar and public bar.

MONDAY (DAY 3) – This morning following breakfast, the day is yours to enjoy Kirkwall at your leisure as our driver & Tour Manager both require a legal day off today. However, we include a walking tour with a See Orkney guide from the hotel.
A number of attractions and places of interest are within walking distance of the hotel, these include the stunning St Magnus Cathedral – a must for anyone visiting Kirkwall, the Earl’s and Bishop’s Palaces, The Orkney Museum and The Highland Park Distillery and Visitor Centre. You may also wish to take a local ferry boat to one of the nearby outlying islands.
This evening, we enjoy dinner in the hotel restaurant. Included Meals – Breakfast, Dinner
TUESDAY (DAY 4) – Following breakfast, we re-join our coach for a full day Orkney Highlights tour (provided by See Orkney) visiting some of the most remarkable archaeological sites, namely Skara Brae (Admission Included) and The Ring of Brodgar (located in the World Heritage Site – The Heart of Neolithic Orkney), Skaill House (Admission Included), The Standing Stones of Stenness & Maeshowe (Admission Included). Today we have also included a light lunch at the Merkister Hotel as part of your tour of neolithic Orkney.
This evening we enjoy dinner in the hotel restaurant once again.

WEDNESDAY (DAY 5) - Today following breakfast, we are joined by a See Orkney guide as we enjoy a tour visiting Yesnaby Cliffs & the Brough of Birsay, the Broch of Gurness (Admission Included), Scapa Flow, The Churchill Barriers & the ornate Italian Chapel (Admission Included).
This evening we enjoy dinner in the hotel restaurant and our final night on Orkney. Included Meals – Breakfast, Dinner
THURSDAY (DAY 6) – This morning following breakfast at The Kirkwall Hotel, we enjoy a final day on Orkney by visiting some local crafts people this morning. This afternoon, we also visit the picturesque town of Stromness for lunch and some free time.
Late afternoon, we assemble at Stromness Ferry Terminal (1600hrs) to say goodbye to Orkney as we board the 1645hrs ferry back to Scrabster on the mainland. Evening meal is included during the sailing back to Scrabster. We retrace our steps as we journey south to our overnight hotel the
4* Golf View Hotel & Spa, Nairn, where we arrive this evening for our final night in Scotland.

FRIDAY (DAY 7) – This morning following breakfast, we say goodbye to the Golf View Hotel & Spa, as we take your to Inverness Marina for a Dolphin Spirit Cruise (Cruise Fare Included). On this Moray Firth boat tour, we will travel up the Beauly Firth towards the Caledonian Canal then turn and head out to the Inverness Firth under the Kessock bridge out as far as Munlochy Bay before returning to the marina. The Moray Firth is home to a delightful array of wildlife, from seals and otters to an abundance of birdlife. The boat cruise will have a Guide on board, along with commentary, to tell you about the history and folklore to enhance the passenger experience.
Early afternoon, we transfer you back to Inverness Airport for your flight home.
For clients returning to GATWICK, we would advise booking the 1500HRS EASYJET FLIGHT (Arrive Gatwick 1640hrs).
